Events

We hold a number of events throughout the year with the goal of connecting students both with each other and nuclear professionals looking to hire young graduates for work in the nuclear sector.

Chapters

Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS)

The CNS promotes the exchange of information on all aspects of nuclear science and technology and its applications. This includes nuclear power generation, fuel production, uranium mining and refining, management of radioactive wastes and used fuel. Other topics include medical and industrial uses of radionuclides, occupational and environmental radiation protection, the science and technology of nuclear fusion, and associated activities in research and development.

American Nuclear Society (ANS)

The American Nuclear Society is an organization for those who embrace the nuclear sciences and technologies for their vital contributions to improving people’s lives and preserving the planet. Their mission is to empower a strong, connected, and engaged professional community that cultivates nuclear science and technology for the benefit of humanity.

Women In Nuclear (WIN)

WiN Canada works to support the objectives of WiN Global by emphasizing and supporting the role that women can and do have in addressing public concerns about nuclear energy and the application of radiation and nuclear technology. WiN Canada also works to provide opportunities for women to succeed in the industry through initiatives such as mentoring, networking, and other personal development opportunities.

North American Young Generation Nuclear (NAYGN)

NAYGN is a non-profit organization which provides opportunities for a young generation of nuclear enthusiasts to develop strong leadership and professional skills, create lifelong connections, engage and inform the public, and inspire today’s nuclear technology professionals to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
